Abstract: The German version of the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS) was adapted from the widely used English-speaking instrument for recording the emotional state of PANAS by Watson, Clark and Tellegen (1988). The questionnaire consists of 20 adjectives that describe different sensations and feelings. In each case 10 adjectives capture the dimensions Positive Affect and Negative Affect.
