Abstract: Judgement on parties and politicians.
Topics: besides questions uniform at the federal level the
questionnaire also contains questions only posed in individual states:
1. Federal part: judgement on the economic situation in the Federal
Republic and assessment of economic development of personal household;
satisfaction with democracy in the Federal Republic; political
interest; most important political events in the last year and
judgement on them by the respondent; attitude to state, politicians and
political participation (scale); party preference (ballot procedure);

Universe: Persons with German citizenship, 18 years old or older and living in private
households

Multi-stage stratified random sample (ADM mastersample). Besides the
representative sample for the rest of the Federal Republic Supplemental
samples were drawn by over-representation in the states Lower Saxony,
