Universe: All persons with German citizenship who at the beginning of the survey were at least 18 years old.

Sampling Procedure: • Probability: Multistage; Multi-stage stratified random sample (ADM mastersample). From all of the respondents of the ALLBUS study 1984 a subsample of 210 persons was drawn.
