Geographic coverage: German Democratic Republic (1949-1990) (DDDE)
Universe: Young working people - apprentices, workers, master (craftsman),
skilled and high-school cadre to 35 years - from 24 companies
in the chemical industry, the electro-technology/electronics industry,
heavy macninery and facility construction as well as tool and
processing machinery manufacture.

Temporal Research Design: Longitudinal Analysis Unit: Individual Mode of Data Collection: • Self-administered questionnaire: Paper;
Written survey, three questionnaire variants, LIS-A, LIS-B and
LIS-C with a constant (45 kernel indicators in all 3 forms,
47 in variant A and B) and an alternative question section.
Time budget form LIS-YESTERDAY to record demands on
leader in work and leisure time.
