Abstract: This study of Magrit Grabas deals with the process of Germany´s industrial and econommical development from 1885 to 1914, analysed on the basis of substantial statistics (time series data.
Main emphasis of the analysis about the historical economic situation is a quantitative market analysis of the economic development´s process from 1895 to 1914 in Germany. Aim is to describe similarities and differences of three economical cycles falling into this period and in particular the three growth crises 1900/1901, 1907/1908 as well as 1913.
