Abstract: The comparison between the party- and election-system and the election results of the monarchy during the German Kaiser Reich on the one hand and the democratic state and social order during the Weimar Republic on the other hand was always opposed to the difficulties of structural and functional differences and the incomparability of the statistical data basis.
