Abstract: This study is a historical, statistical source work on industrial steel production in Germany from 1850-1911. The present overviews especially contain information about iron and steel industry in all areas of metal production from ore.
Generally the sectoral definition of the steel industry and its sub branches is made by the systematical list of goods for the industry statistics of the Federal Republic of Germany, edition 1970, p. 37 ff.
