Abstract: The study on security and crime in Saxony 2022 - main dataset - was conducted by Infas Institute for Applied Social Science on behalf of the Saxon Institute for Police and Security Research (SIPS). In the survey period from 27.04.2022 to 02.08.2022, the Saxon resident population aged 16 and over was asked about fear of crime and its causes in online interviews (CAWI) and in writing (self-completed questionnaire: paper).
