Additional information about the file | For some years, the number of public family planning centers per 10000 women between 15 to 49 year-old was missing in the ministry reports (variable famcenterpub10kwomen). When there was available information on family planning centers in total per region we calculated the number of public family planning centers per 10000 women between 15 to 49 year-old using statistics provided by the Italian Statistical Institute (http://dati.istat.it/). This was the case for Piemonte in 1978, Liguria in 1978 and for all regions in 1981, 1982, 1983 and 1985. The data used for this procedure on women between age 15 and 49 by region can be found in this file. |
