Notes: The EUI Solidarity in Europe (SiE) research team, in cooperation with YouGov, charts the evolution of support for cross-border solidarity in Europe. It has been doing so via a large-N survey on public support for European solidarity every year since 2018. The 2022 edition of the survey inquired over 23000 respondents in 16 EU member states and the UK during April 2022. Notes: Es erfolgte eine Erhebung sowohl quantitativer wie auch qualitativer Daten anhand einer vielseitigen Quellenauswahl.In den hier hochgeladenen Datensätzen werden zunächst alle Rohdaten gesammelt ("raw"), in einem weiteren Datensatz werden ausschließlich die so weit wie möglich aggregierten Daten aufgeführt ("raw_agg"), bevor jene Daten kalibriert ("cal") werden. Da die Kalibrierung der Bedingung 3 aufgrund fehlender Daten für eine Teilmenge der Fälle getrennt durchgeführt werden wurde zudem "cal_b3" erstellt. Die Daten aus "cal" und "cal_b3" können nun final zu den jeweiligen Analysedatensätzen aggregiert werden. "all_chambers" ist hierbei der wichtigste Datensatz, da nur in diesem alle Fälle aufgelistet sind, was jedoch die Analyse der Bedingung 3 aufgrund fehlender Daten unmöglich macht. Hierfür wird stattdessen der Datensatz "major_chambers" verwendet, welcher zweite Kammern ausschließt und somit auch vollständige Daten für B3 aufweist. Des Weiteren werden aus diesen beiden Datensätzen weitere Subsets gebildet, mit Fokus auf jeweils unterschiedliche Arten parlamentarischer Kammern. So enthält der Datensatz "first chambers" lediglich die Fälle der ersten Kammern, der Datensatz "second_chambers" nur die Fälle zweiter Kammern und zuletzt der Datensatz "single_chamber_parliaments" nur die Fälle der Einkammerparlamente.Während die Kernanalyse zur Prüfung auf notwendige und hinreichende Bedingung anhand des größten Datensatzes "all_chambers" durchgeführt wird (bzw. "major_chambers" für B3), sollen anhand der weiteren Datensätze systematische Unterschiede zwischen den verschiedenen Arten parlamentarischer Kammern untersucht werden.
Zur allgemeinen Erklärung sämtlicher Indikatoren wurde ein Codebook erstellt, welches auch die Quellen der jeweiligen Indikatoren aufführt. Zudem wird die Kalibrierungstabelle veröffentlicht um den mathematischen Schritt von "raw_agg" zu "cal" bzw. "cal_b3" replizierbar zu machen, sowie das vollständige R-Skript zu sämtlichen Operationen der Aufbereitung der Datensätze und der eigentlichen Analyse.
