Universe: Die Auswahl erfolgte auf Grundlage der „Ausweisung Digital-Angebote“ der Informationsgemeinschaft zur Feststellung der Verbreitung von Werbeträgern e.V., die die Verbreitung von Werbung in Presse, Rundfunk und digitalen Angeboten in Deutschland kontrolliert. Da sich diese Studie auf deutsche Nachrichtenseiten beschränkt, wurde die Liste (Monatsbericht für Oktober 2017) nach der Art der Auslieferung (Online), des Inhalts (Nachrichten) und des Erzeugers (Redaktion) gefiltert.
