Abstract: Political events in 139 countries of the world.

Topics: recording of type of political events, such as e.g.
demonstrations, police deployment, uprising, strike, armed political
conflicts, politically motivated murders, political strikes, attempted
coup, elections, regularly replacing rulers or a government; relaxing
of censorship and political limitations; date of events; controversy
and goal of political action; number of participants and injured;
damage caused; length and extent of events; number of dead; active
groups; source from which the event was encoded.
