Abstract: The 2019 European Election Study (EES) Voter Study is a post-election study, conducted in all 28 EU member states after the elections to the European Parliament were held between 23 and 26 May 2019. Sampling Procedure: • Probability: Multistage • Non-probability: Quota; Respondents were selected from online access panels according to a quota system. Quota characteristics were gender, age, region and level of urbanisation. In Cyprus and Malta, respondents were selected using a multi-stage random sample.

Mode of Data Collection: • Self-administered questionnaire: Web-based (CAWI) • Telephone interview: Computer-assisted (CATI); Online was chosen as data collection mode in all countries except in Cyprus and Malta where interviews were conducted using telephone (combination of landlines and mobile) due to unavailability of reliable access panel in these countries.
