Abstract: On behalf of the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government, the opinion research institute Kantar conducted a short survey in March 2022 on the attitudes of the German population towards migration and integration. The focus is on attitudes towards refugee issues and the work of the Federal Government in this area.
The trend questions continue the cumulative ´Questions on the refugee situation in Germany´ from 2016 (ZA6628), 2017 (ZA6634), 2018 (ZA6716), 2019 (ZA6726) and 2020 (ZA7656).

Universe: German-speaking population aged 14 and over in private households in the Federal Republic of Germany. The sample population consists of private households in the Federal Republic of Germany with at least one fixed network connection and persons with at least one mobile phone.
Number of Units: 1503
Sampling Procedure: • Probability: Multistage;
Probability sample: Multi-stage random sample;
Combined landline and mobile phone sample (dual frame approach (80% landline, 20% mobile) within the framework of a multi-topic survey (EMNIDbus).
