Abstract: The data compilation on hand gives an overview of the main statistical results in the main components of Germany’s balance of payments during the period from 1949 to 1998. The balance of payments statistics is completed with information about financial services of the Federal Republic of Germany for developing countries. The balance of payments is according to the definition of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) the systematic documentation of all transactions that have taken place during a given period between residents and non-residents.
